My my, it has been a while hasn’t it. Well those of you who follow my tweets will know I’ve had serious internet troubles and have managed to get online for this evening. Thusly I’ve not picked up a new doujin to translate yet, so if you have one you want me to do just send me an email (might be a delay in replying, damn internet).
Ok, on with the show. This weeks AMV comes couresy of CurryMuttonPizza. You might remember that name, they gave us an Enormous Penis back in November. This time around it’s still Ouran High School Host Club, only with a Weird Al Yankovic tune. Jerry Springer is a parody of One Week by Barenaked Ladies and is currently stuck in my head. Enjoy! It’s the final AMV Of The Week before Christmas, so that means it’s time for a Christmassy anime music video! Storm Akima bring us the 12 Pains of Christmas (Downloadable at Anime Music Videos.org) by Bob Rivers, a song in itself a parody of the classic carol the 12 Days Of Christmas. So again a couple of weeks without an AMV, sorry about that ^_^;; A combination of studying and doing the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and a beast of an essay has meant I’ve had a pretty hactic end of semester, with one week still to go. Good luck to everyone who took the test by the way, hope you all get the results you were hoping for (I took 2級, but am not confident >_<).

Sunday’s come around pretty damn quick don’t they. So our new AMV of the week goes by the name “Mix Anime AMV ~ Stop Looking At My (BEEP)!”. Taking the Pussycat Dolls song Beep and mixing in a decent range of anime (including Princess Princess, Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, Ouran High School Host Club, Naruto, xxxHolic, Black Cat, Love Hina, Gakuen Heaven, FMA Chibi Party, Shakugan no Shana, Inukami!, School Rumble 2, Law of Ueki and more), we get a pretty funky AMV by Hinano.
Well folks it’s Sunday and that means it’s time for the AMV of the week. This weeks AMV is a wonderful barbershop style song accompanied by the boys (and Haruhi) from the Ouran High School Host Club. Presented by CurryMuttonPizza, I give you Enormous Penis, by Bob & Tom.

So it’s Sunday and that of course means it’s time for this weeks AMV of the Week. This week we’re going a bit DDR as we bring you Waka Laka For Osaka by Aquiline Studios, featuring the track Waka Laka and the cast from Azumanga Daioh.

Hey folks. My it has been a while since I last posted or twittered eh. Those who follow me on Twitter will know of my crap internet follies, and this was made worse with the death of my laptop.
However I’m pleased to say that I’m back and (as well as juggling between Uni & other projects) am ready to crack on with some translating! Before the laptop death I was translating (albeit at a very slow pace) Crybaby Tiger, but thankfully kept a back-up so I’ve carried on with it, and should have it ready to go online in a couple of days.
It’s also been a long while since we had an AMV of the week, so here to revive that is Yukari & The Azu-Girls – We’re Gay!!! A very energetic video by AzuGirl89 featuring the girls from Azumanga Daioh with the tune I’m Gay by Bowling For Soup.
So just to give you an update on where I am on the Tora Dora doujin translation, I’ve another three pages to do and then edit it. I’ve had a less than wonderful internet connection since moving home, but hopefully that’ll change in the near future. Not that I needed the ‘net to translate, but I it helps with procrastinating.
So this weekends “AMV of the Week” is by an editor called K-type. It takes the 2003 Fountains of Wayne song Stacy’s Mom, and combines it with the hilarious anime ジャングルはいつもハレのちグウ (The Jungle Was Always Clear, Then Came Guu; shortened in North America to just Hare & Guu). “Hale’s Mom” is another one of my long time favourites, though just to clear something up, Guu (Pink hair) is female and Hare (Purple hair) is male.
After having a nice dinner (of yesterdays leftover peperoni pizza) I was about to crack on with working on translating the Tora Dora doujinshi when a familliar song popped up on WinAmp. It was Matt Willis (popular for being a member of the band Busted) and his song ‘Luxury’. A catchy tune that I hadn’t heard until it appeared in a らき☆すた (raki☆suta, Lucky☆Star) AMV a few months back by Azugirl89, so I thought I’d share it with you (not that I’m stalling time or anything).
